the "Mega-regional Policy (5 Multi-poles & 3 Special Zones)".

The key to ushering in an era of local regions where every corner of Korea prospers together lies in the implementation of three pillars :
the "Mega-regional Policy for Balanced Growth," transforming the "Seoul Metropolitan A/rea into a Global Economic Capital" while
"Completing the Relocation of the Administrative Capital to Sejong," and expanding "Local Autonomy and Decentralization".

Standing at the forefront of balanced national growth and the expansion of local autonomy,
the Presidential Committee for Decentralization and Balanced Development will forge a new and vibrant future for the Republic of Korea.
